 Failed quickly to turn off July 9, 2010

Loved this blanket so much I started buying them for the kids and different locations. We are always chilled in San Francisco and this layer is in style for us. This particular product, Sunbeam offers a turn off after 3 hours. It quickly, about 2 months after use, failed to turn off the blanket after the 3 hour start time. The other blankets, both Sunbeam work well. I gave 2 away to others and never heard of a problem. I would still order this, and am thinking about it because summer is almost here in SF. Another 12-15 inches longer would be nice. I keep hitting my toes on the plastic 1+ x 3=" input right in the center at bottom, unless you want it in your face. Does not awaken me however.

Arrived physically broken. By the time I got it back from the friend I had purchased it for as a gift, the return period had expired. Sent it back for the partial refund anyway.

This was a Christmas gift for a skinny friend who lives on the East Coast. She liked it very much. Then the surprising winter storms came and now she loves it. Small enough to carry around the house but big enough to keep her warm at night. Hurray!

I bought this throw for my wife for Christmas - and she totally loves it! Last year we moved to Chicago, and her the harsh winter weather had her toes in the early stages of frostbite. Worse, she'd warm those frozen little suckers on my stomach when I'd get home from work. Now she's warm from head to toe when I get home, and I get a much warmer greeting!
I ordered the blanket with a day to spare to get it in time for Christmas, and it made it in just under the wire. It's a good deal, and the adjustable heat levels make it comfortable for all. The only possible downside is that it is easy to turn it on by sitting on the controller (we use it so much that it just stays out on the couch), but that is easy to avoid by unplugging it or just watching where you sit.

I have a 72 old "Baby" that cannot crawl into bed at night between cold sheets. I placed the throw between the top sheet and a blanket above it. Turn it on Low to Medium about one or two hours before bedtime. Yes at 72, it is hard to see a grown man cry and shiver. Now he turns it off when he crawls into bed and is happy as a baby and toast-y warm. The heated throw was low cost and totally effective.
