I read the reviews prior to purchasing the bedding so I did know the small blue decorative pillow would be ivory, not blue. Although I think I would like the pillow in the blue color better, I love the look of the set overall. The sheen appearance really gives an elegant look and the colors are very modern. This set is a perfect balance for couples who do not want too girly or too masculine of a look. The small pillow has a ruffle and the comforter has pleats allowing for some feminine presence however the striping, colors and clean lines bring a handsome look. I painted the wall behind our bed a dark chocolate and the other three walls a lighter version of the blue in the bedding. With simple chocolate drapes, the room looks like a high end hotel room. The feel of the comforter is pleasant and the ability to machine wash it is awesome!
A great, affordable way to update the look of your room! :-)

 Beautiful, but smells out of box August 12, 2010

This is a nice looking bedding set, but right out of the box it smells something terrible and since it's made in china who knows what kind of chemical stew is laying on my bed. My cat won't even lay on it and she's the first thing to investigate any new item brought into the house.
Wish I would've investigated where it came from before i purchased it.
So all in all, I'm kinda conflicted on this purchase. It definitely adds some zeal to my living space, but the smell is a big turn off.

We purchased the blue color 8 piece comforter set for our guest room which is painted in a beautiful light blue color. The combination of the blue, chocolate brown and beige color really makes the room look just so! The modern look and pin tuck design of this bedding set makes it look upscale! The feel of it is just great, just what we had expected. I can't wait to have some guests and hear their reaction when they sleep in this luxury bedding set. We loved it so much that we purchased the same set in the sage green color for our own bedroom and we couldn't of had been happier! It's a great price for a 8 Piece set.

This arrived on time, but not in perfect condition. There was a brown stain on the cream part of the comforter. It was too much trouble to send it back, so I just scrubbed it out as well as I could.

I LOVE the look of this set. The color is definitely more of a sea foam than a light blue. My rectangle three button pillow was not blue, it was cream and chocolate, but it is still pretty. The material on the top of the comforter is a faux silk, but it is very very scratchy, the bottom side of the comforter is very soft though and that is pleasant to the touch. I do love the set, it is very beautiful, I just wish the material was a little higher quality, but at this price, it is just fine.
