Fine in principle, but you must handle VERY carefully. They do work, but half of them will break in a month anyway :-)

Just exactly what I needed to send to my son in Afghanistan. His Navy bunk is a lot more comfortable now that his sheets stay tight. It's hard to find these straps with the alligator snaps so I was thrilled with this purchase. Just right!

These sheet straps do just what they are supposed to do! I have been using them for a few weeks and haven't had to adjust my sheets at all.
